Profile of Lloyd Hunsberger
The following is a profile of Lloyd Hunsberger written by Ted Neff in the Whispering Pines newsletter:
"Lloyd Hunsberger, from Wadsworth, Ohio is another who stepped right from Bluffton College to Camp Marietta, having completed his junior year there. Although 'Hunk' is a member of the Methodist church he has Mennonite background. At Bluffton College he majored in business and economics, and between times he played football. At the present time he is chairman of the Recreation committee and doing a nice joy [sic]; he also serves the Benevolent Association as secretary-treasurer. This fellow has a wide smile and wider shoulders which is a definite contribution to the work project. But he always seems to be worrying about 'losing 15 or 20 pounds,' except three times a day. Hunk is anxiously awaiting the time when he can go overseas on a relief and reconstruction unit."
