Summary:
CPS Unit No. 140, subunit 7, located at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis, Minnesota, subjected COs to experiments in starvation, in an attempt to prepare for post war relief work.
Dr. Ancel Keys served as director of this OSG project on starvation which ran from January 31 through June 26, 1946. The project was designed for up to sixty-five men to serve as volunteers in Minneapolis.
