Summary:
CPS Unit 100, subunit 1, located in Connecticut, was operated by the American Friends Service Committee.
About one hundred and seventy CPS men performed the skilled tasks of dairy herd testing. Each CO selected for this work, traveled from farm to farm in the cooperative association to test, sample and record information for each cow typically in a thirty cow herd.
Most dairy testing cooperative associations consisted of twenty-six farmers.
The American Friends Service Committee supervised three of the subunits.
